Concept UK has been established for over twenty one years, offering a complete range of design and contracting solutions for commercial premises.
Within this time, we have built upon our ethos of providing a service that ensures our clients are not only left with a first class installation, but also a positive experience from working with us.
Our Services
Planning Supervisory
Concept like to build a working relationship with our clients from the outset, and try to include them at the design stage as much as possible. Our designers will work together with both you and our suppliers to understand every aspect of your needs and expectations from the installation. Only then do we sit down with our project team to plan the absolute optimum solution.
Concept working in conjunction with you will produce all necessary layout plan and elevation drawings of the installation. We produce an outlined project programme, including phased working, taking into account relevant material lead-times and site schedules including provision for any other necessary trades outside of our scope of works.
We assess your project in line with the “Health and Safety at Work Act” and “Construction and Design Management” (C.D.M.) Regulations, and will issue the necessary documentation to parties nominated by yourselves.
Project Management
Detailed planning up front is the only way to have a successful project.
Before we start any project we ensure that there is a highly visible project plan and time-scale schedule, which we agree with you and your colleagues.
We will appoint a Project Manager to oversee the contracted work and to carry out direct liaison with you. Our Project Manager will be in contact with the team leaders for the various on-site trades, The Project Manager will be based on site to ensure on site quality is maintained and safe working practices are adhered to.
We employ a site cleanliness program throughout the period of the contracted work, and will provide skips as necessary, to agreed positions, for the removal of our waste.
Where work is to be carried out in occupied premises, we shall produce an agreed schedule of works detailing clear areas required with accurate timescales.
Following practical completion of the project the installation will be thoroughly cleaned down with all waste materials cleared from site.
Copies of all “as built” drawings will be issued with technical details and maintenance instructions on the systems and finishes used.
Health & Safety
Health and safety is both relevant to the workspace design/specification and to the project that we carry out.
We understand in detail all of the Health and Safety at work requirements and ensure that every design complies in all respects.
We run our on-site projects in-line with latest legislation and we keep up to date with industry best practice to ensure that we have a safe system of work, overseen by a nominated, project specific Health & Safety executive.
